New Moon Phase – Moon in Gemini
Ruling Mahavidya – Tara (Saturday) Bagalamukhi (Sunday)
This month, the Wisdom Goddess Bagalamukhi will be working to lighten our load in many ways. Bagalamukhi destroys or renders enemies powerless. Our main enemies are mind parasites and intrusions. They instill fear, self-doubt, insecurity, and self-judgment. You can think of these enemies as your own personal demons, but that’s not accurate because they don’t have anything to do with us truly; they are an outside force – the Archons. They seek to keep us from seeing or using our gifts. They keep us walled off from others, fearful of being hurt. They particularly like to keep us cut off from our Mother, the goddess Sophia who is embodied as our planet (because if we felt the full connection, we would fear nothing).
Bagalamukhi works very, very hard at helping us see through this. She does this primarily by destroying our illusions and delusions. In the process, we become lighter and less burdened.
Bagalamukhi’s method will involve getting rid of things that are being stored that should not be physically, mentally, or emotionally stored. You can read this also as things that are carried, housed, or held.
The shift from Tara, who is genteel for the most part and light as a feather, is usually rather radical. Bagalamukhi’s force comes from pinpoint, precision focus. She stares down. She is often depicted cutting out an enemy’s tongue. But please remember that what is written in Hindu texts and regurgitated on the internet comes from a patriarchal, Archontically-dominated mindset. Bagalamukhi metaphorically cuts out an enemy’s tongue because she renders them speechless and impotent from the force of her stare. Having personally experienced the power of all of the Mahavidyas’ stares, I can tell you that only the strong of heart (good hearts) can withstand it. This month people whose hearts are corrupt will lose their minds. And thus their power will weaken.
There’s a lot to say about this new lunar month. Jupiter conjuncts the Galactic Center on Saturday with the New Moon and the Black Moon enters Cancer on Sunday. All Geminis and anyone with the Black Moon in Gemini should celebrate. This has not been an easy time to have a Black Moon transit!
I will be recording with Andrew, who coordinates the Oracle Report Facebook community, in the near future and will go into more depth about what we can expect from this new month.
For now, take a deep breath, spend time outdoors, and look for signs of Bagalamukhi in nature through the color yellow.
